Yan ang disiplina! Bus company after receiving P462,000 fine removes some of their seats to avoid overloading

A bus company decided to remove half of its seats after they received a hefty fine from the City government of Valenzuela.

Malanday Metrolink Bus Corp. was caught overloading passengers despite the 50 percent capacity rule imposed by IATF in Metro Manila.

The bus company was charged by 462,000 pesos for the said violation.

Metro Manila is still under General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

To prevent another incident of overloading, Malanday decided to dismantle 50% of its seats.

“Metrolink buses now…chairs removed to prevent the temptation to overload,” Gatchalian said.

The action of Gatchalian received praise from the netizens.

However, some residents fear that the recent decision of the said company might affect transportation in the said city.
